Rural construction from the 18th century to which the Calpines went to provide themselves with water for domestic use, it also served as a watering hole, until in 1878 the pipeline to Calpe from Pou Roig was made.
A small carved stone monolith, belonging to the well, has been incorporated into the construction to store pitchers and containers into which to pour water, as well as a small fountain.
